Birthday Party and More!

A few weeks ago we went to a birthday party for our friends daughter. What an experience!! Their children love to dance, so we danced and danced until we were so tired...Nathan and Ratan (the father) decided to stay in another room and play chess. We love Ratan and Ritu and their three daughters...it is going to be sad to leave them.

Things here in Landour are coming to an end. We have one more week left then we are off to Thailand for some meetings, then a small vacation in Krabi, Thailand. We are definitely looking forward to the break. Not to mention we are looking forwar to eating in some American restaurants when we get the chance!! A big steak will satisfy us both!! We crack up when we see a cow and think it looks tasty!

We will be missing so many things that we have come to love here....the chokidar (watchman) and his family, and our teachers at the language school, as well as the people we have been fellowshipping with at church. We hope to come back next year for a boost in our Hindi. We are leaving here confident that our Hindi is where we want it to be after three months--Praise the Lord, b/c it was only by His grace!!! Thanks for praying for us!! Please pray that we will continue to be diligent in learning this language--we have MUCH to learn!
