Thailand...Meetings, Fun, and Friends!!

We were in Thailand for meetings, but we kind of saw it as a way the Lord brought our "family" from Grad school back together again....our family on the other side of the world.

We're pretty for sure Shanee might be the cutest : ) !!!

But, I don't know...Kristin and I are pretty cute with our little Thai umbrella!

Just waiting out the rain...we were on motorcycles when we had to stop at a little resort on the side of the road and take a rest...so we are looking a little wind blown and grungy.

We saw this little girl with a Sooners shirt---in Thailand---and we thought of Brother Mike! Even Thai people like the Sooners!!!

We were also reunited with some little ones that we have grown very close to...this is Shanti. Her name is Hindi for peace.

Girl time is sometimes the most important time .... and I had plenty of girl time in Thailand!! While Nate and the guys rented motorcycles and rode around Chaing Mai.

Nate was a happy man on the beach!!! We spent so much time sleeping and watching Animal Planet because it rained the entire time we were there....until our last day! So, we were able to catch up on some much needed rest--but, we sure enjoyed the nice day when it came!!

Two happy campers!! After our meetings we were able to get away by ourself in the South islands of Thailand and spend our time with just each other!!

We saw this little elephant on the side of the road while we were riding around on our little scooters...we decided not to ride it, so we just fed it. I decided that I don't like elephants as much as I though I would. We both thought their trunk was a little creepy! : ) And their skin was a little weird too. So, we fed it some bananas and went on our way!

The island was so beautiful! We have been so blessed to see so many places the Lord has created!! He is amazing! We were blessed by the time we were able to rest and spend with each other in His creation!! He is good all the time!!
