Prem, Gyanu, Smarika, Kari and Nathan

Our little family here in Shillong.

Prem and his family joined us in Shillong in August. Prem is traveling with us to do trainings all over Northeast India. Gyanu and Kari have become friends, speaking broken Hindi and Nepali and English! Smarika is a joy and brings a new dynamic to our household. They live right next door to us.

Pray for Gyanu as Prem is with us quite a bit away from his family. Pray that her ministry in Shillong will flourish and open many doors to share the gospel while we are away.

One of the groups that we trained with the help of our partners. This was a wonderful time of fellowship and encouraging...but, more importantly training to begin new churches! These are champions of the faith, many facing persecutions, and reaching out to numerous previously unreached people groups! Pray for them!!!

FACES

We wish we had more time to show you more faces of India. However, since we don't here is a couple. We would like you to notice the difference in the faces of those in the training and Prem and his family compared to these two pictures...we desire that people would have faces that "shine like stars" (Phil 2). Here in India there is a noticeable difference between those who have hope in Christ and those who don't. We ask that you pray for the people of Northeast India...pray that they will one day have the hope that we do in Christ and their hope would one day spill over to the rest of India and to all the nations!
