A Few Little Random Pictures....

Over the past month or so we have not been able to update the blog like we would like to...so we are just oadding some pics that you haven't seen before.

This is our little group that meets on Sunday nights. From the left: me (Kari), Alun (Lemilla's son), Mayonsing (Lemilla's Husband), Nathan, Prem. Bottom left: Lemilla (my national partner), Rinter (Lemi's daughter), and Gyanu (Prem's wife).

This is a little creepy, huh? : ) We live in a city with a lot of Catholics...so, one night during Christmas Holiday some carolers came to our house. They wore Santa Clause masks!! Weird...but, it was still fun!

This is the group of women who attended the Women's Training that Kari and Lemilla held on January 18-19th. The training was for wives, mothers, and daughters....we spoke on the role of women in the church and in the home. It went very well...now we just pray that God will use what the women learned for His Glory!!

Nathan and Smarika (Prem's 4 year old daughter). This was the night the scary Santa Claus came to our house!! Smarika wasn't so fond of him. Two nights before the scary Santa Claus came we had just told Prem and his family how America usually celebrate Christmas. We told him about Santa Claus and how all the children wait for their presents from him...then the scary Santa Claus shows up at our door and scares the livin' day lights out of us! So..that didn't really help Prem's view of how Americans celebrate Christmas! ; )

Below...is our little neighbor on the same night.....he has grown up here in Shillong so he is excited about the scary Santa. This was Smarika's first time ever to see a Santa (since she has grown up in Nepal)...so she couldn't figure out why Daniel was so excited about the creepy Santa!

This is Themilla....she just came to know Christ on January 11th!! Lemilla and I were able to share with her...it was great!! She attended the women's Conference as well! She has already begun sharing her faith with others!! Praise the Lord!!!

Prem's newborn son, Sajivan. He was born on January 5th. He is the cutest little guy ever...well, besides Jackson of course.

Just a picture in the streets of Biratnagar, where our great friends Shanee and Jesse Snodgrass live....these were about the healthiest cows I've seen in Asia.
